Welcome to Impact Bexley

Impact Bexley will provide a valuable insight into the effect that council-run and regional regeneration programmes has on the lives of residents and communities. It is run by Future Communities, a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Bexley.

The Impact Bexley programme will run until May 2018 and during this time we will be holding several focus group events that are open to residents of our target areas in the Bexley borough. One specific aspect that we are trying to understand is how these changes affect the most disengaged and hard-to-reach in our communities, such as:

  • people with learning difficulties
  • the frail, infirm and disabled
  • people who are isolated or lack an extended social infrastructure
  • those whose lives are constrained by mental health issues

We are also interested in the views of different age groups so we will be seeking to meet and discuss these issues with:

  • Young people in the age range 16-24,
  • Those in the 25-64 year old age range, and
  • People in the 64 and above age range

If you would like to Join in on the debate by attending one of our focus groups please book a place here.

Go here for the final results of the research which will be available later this year (2018) most probably in June.
